Reliable Appliance Solutions
When your refrigerator stops cooling, your washer won't drain, or your oven stops heating, you need a company that responds quickly and gets the job done right. We specialize in appliance repair and maintenance for the appliances families depend on every day.
As a family-owned Florida business, we believe in honest service, clear communication, and quality workmanship. Our goal is simple: help you get your appliance back up and running as quickly as possible without unnecessary stress. From kitchen appliances to laundry appliances, we work on a wide range of major brands and common household units.
When a Samsung refrigerator goes wrong, the ice maker is often the first to complain: ice jams in the bucket, water drips from the dispenser, a fan starts to buzz. Appliance Masters repairs Samsung French-door, side-by-side and top-freezer refrigerators in South Florida and Tampa Bay. We find the cause behind the symptom and tell you the price before any work starts.
Many Samsung French-door models make ice in a small compartment in the fridge door or the upper corner of the fresh-food section, with its own fan, heater and seal. That design is compact, and in Florida humidity it is also where frost builds first. Each door opening lets warm, wet air in, and in summer a refrigerator in a hot garage runs almost without a break. Storm season adds power cuts and surges, after which a refrigerator may show a code or stop cooling one section. We are an independent repair company, not a Samsung service center. If the refrigerator is still under Samsung's warranty, call Samsung first.
Common Refrigerator Issues
Ice maker frozen solid or not making ice
Ice builds up around the ice maker or the bucket and jams the auger. Turn the ice maker off, take the bucket out and let it and the compartment thaw with the door open, then dry everything before switching it back on. If the build-up returns within days, the cause is usually the compartment seal, its fan or a heater, and on many models the display shows a code such as 33E, 39E or 40E.
Fan noise, code 22E or 21E
22E points to the fan in the fresh-food section and 21E to the freezer fan on many models. Frost behind the rear panel grows until the blades touch it, and the noise often stops when you open the door. Defrosting quiets it for a while; the repair is finding why the frost forms, which can be a defrost heater, a sensor or a door that does not seal.
Freezer cold, fresh-food section warm
Most Samsung refrigerators cool each section with its own evaporator. If the freezer is fine and the fridge side is warm, frost on the fresh-food evaporator or a stopped fan is the usual reason. Check that vents inside are not blocked by food. If the fridge side keeps warming, call before food is lost.
Display shows OF OF, lights on, no cooling
This is Cooling Off, the showroom mode, and not a fault. On most models holding two buttons on the panel for a few seconds switches it off; the exact pair is in your manual. It sometimes turns on after a power cut or when a child presses the panel.
Water dispenser slow or dead after a filter change
A filter that is not fully seated stops the flow. Take it out, push it back in until it locks and run a few glasses through. If there is still no water, the inlet valve, a frozen line in the door or the dispenser switch is tested.
Both sections warm, clicking from the back
If the refrigerator and freezer are both warming, unplug the unit for a minute after any power cut and let it restart. If it still does not cool, the compressor, its control board or the start circuit needs a technician, and the sooner the better.
What You Get With Every Visit
Appliance Masters is family-owned and repairs Samsung refrigerators that are out of warranty. The technician reads the error codes, checks fans, heaters and sensors with a meter and gives you the price before ordering or fitting a part. Common parts ride on the van, and every repair comes with a written warranty.
Frequently Asked Questions
Why does my Samsung ice maker keep freezing up?▼
Warm, humid air reaches the ice compartment through a worn seal or a door that does not close fully, and a fan or heater that is not doing its job lets the frost grow. A manual thaw clears it for a while; the repair fixes the part behind it.
Do you repair Samsung refrigerators near me?▼
We cover Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties in South Florida, and Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater Beach on the Gulf side. Same-day and next-day visits are available.
My Samsung refrigerator shows an error code. Is it serious?▼
Not always. OF OF is a showroom setting you can switch off yourself, and some fan codes come from frost that a defrost clears for a time. Write the code down before you call, it tells the technician which circuit to test first.
Is it worth repairing a Samsung refrigerator?▼
Fans, sensors, heaters, ice makers and water valves are usually worth repairing. Compressor and sealed-system work depends on the age of the refrigerator, and you get the price before deciding.
Are you an authorized Samsung service center?▼
No. We are an independent company that repairs Samsung refrigerators after the manufacturer's warranty has ended. Our own work carries a written warranty.
