Reliable Appliance Solutions

When your refrigerator stops cooling, your washer won't drain, or your oven stops heating, you need a company that responds quickly and gets the job done right. We specialize in appliance repair and maintenance for the appliances families depend on every day.

As a family-owned Florida business, we believe in honest service, clear communication, and quality workmanship. Our goal is simple: help you get your appliance back up and running as quickly as possible without unnecessary stress. From kitchen appliances to laundry appliances, we work on a wide range of major brands and common household units.

A Samsung washer rarely stops without saying why. It beeps, ends the cycle and puts a two-character code on the display: 5C, 4C, UB, dC, LC. Appliance Masters repairs Samsung front-load and top-load washers in South Florida and Tampa Bay. The technician reads the code, tests the part behind it and tells you the price before any work starts.

The code names a circuit, not a broken part. A drain code can come from a sock in the pump, a kinked hose or a pump that no longer turns, and the fix for each is different. Some codes also differ by model and age: older Samsung washers show 5E where newer ones show 5C or nd. In Florida homes the washer usually sits in a garage or a hall closet. Garage heat and humidity keep a front-loader's door boot damp between loads, beach sand ends up in the pump filter, and the summer storm season brings power cuts that can leave a washer stuck mid-cycle with the door locked. We are an independent repair company, not a Samsung service center. If the washer is still under Samsung's warranty, call Samsung first.

Common Washer Issues

5C, 5E or nd, water stays in the drum

The washer cannot drain. On most front-loaders, open the small panel at the bottom front, lay a towel and a shallow tray down, let the water out through the little hose and unscrew the pump filter. Coins, hair ties and sand stop here. Also check that the drain hose is not kinked behind the machine or pushed too far into the standpipe. If the code comes back with a clean filter, the pump or its wiring needs testing.

4C, 4E or nF, the washer will not fill

The machine is not getting water in time. Make sure both taps behind it are fully open and the hoses are straight. Each inlet hose has a small screen where it meets the washer, and in older Florida plumbing it clogs with scale and debris. If water reaches the washer and the code stays, the inlet valve is tested.

UB or UE, clothes come out soaked

The load is off balance and the washer slowed the spin to protect itself. One wet bath mat or a single heavy blanket is enough. Redistribute the load and run Spin. If the code appears with a normal mixed load or an empty drum, look for a washer that rocks on its feet, then for worn shock absorbers or suspension rods.

dC, dE or dL, the door will not lock or will not open

The door lock is not confirming it is closed, or it will not release. After a power cut, wait a few minutes with the power on: the lock opens once the washer is sure the drum is empty and still. Never force the door. A lock that clicks but keeps reporting a fault is replaced, and the latch on the door is checked with it.

LC, LE or Sud

LC and LE report a water level or leak problem, so look under the machine and behind it before running another load. Sud means too much foam: regular detergent in a high-efficiency washer, or too much of it. Let the foam settle, run a rinse with no detergent and switch to an HE product in a smaller dose.

Loud roar during spin

A noise that rises with the spin speed usually comes from the drum bearings. Check the drum and the boot for a coin or an underwire first. If the drum itself feels rough when you turn it by hand, it is a bearing job, and the technician will tell you whether repair makes sense for the age of the washer.

What You Get With Every Visit

Appliance Masters is family-owned and repairs Samsung washers that are out of warranty. The technician reads the stored codes, tests the pump, valve, lock or motor with a meter and gives you the price before ordering or fitting a part. Common parts ride on the van, and every repair comes with a written warranty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you repair Samsung washers near me?▼

We cover Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties in South Florida, and Tampa, St. Petersburg and Clearwater Beach on the Gulf side. Same-day and next-day visits are available.

My Samsung washer shows 5C. Can I fix it myself?▼

Often, yes. Clean the pump filter at the bottom front and check the drain hose for kinks. If 5C returns after that, the drain pump or its wiring has failed and needs a technician.

Why does my Samsung front-loader smell?▼

Water and detergent sit in the folds of the door boot and in the pump filter. Wipe the boot, clean the filter, run the Self Clean cycle with the drum empty if your model has one, and leave the door open between washes.

Is it worth repairing a Samsung washer?▼

Pumps, inlet valves, door locks and suspension parts are usually worth repairing. Bearing and control board repairs depend on the age and condition of the machine, and you get the price before deciding.

Are you an authorized Samsung service center?▼

No. We are an independent company that repairs Samsung washers after the manufacturer's warranty has ended. Our own work carries a written warranty.
